Mrs. Mary J. McKeone, of Akron, died a the home of her father, P. F. McClosky, of Peach alley, at 12o'clock Monday night (Jul. 31, 1899). Decedent had been ailing about a year with a complication of diseases, and about two months ago was brought to the home of her father in this place. Her husband and three children, Susan, Isabelle, and John, survive. The parents of the deceased and one brother and three sisters, John, Lucinda, Isabelle, and Mrs. Lizzie Debee, are also living. The funeral takes place this afternoon. The remains will be taken to the First M. E. church where services, conducted by Rev. W. H. Haverfield, will be held. Burial in Spring Grove Cemetery. Mrs. McKeon's <sic> 16-month-old child died spasms on Wednesday night, and Mrs. Patrick McClosky is prostrated with grief and not expected to live.
