EAST PALESTINE, Dec. !! -- The body of Corp. David R. Shultz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Shultz of East Main St., who was killed Oct. 6, 1944 in France, will arrive Monday for final burial.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church by Rev. Byron Fruit and Dr. D. P. Williams, of Beaver, former minister of the local church. Burial will be in Glenview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the late home after noon Monday.
Born April 1, 1925, the 19-year-old infantryman enlisted in 1943 while still in High School. He was sent to North Africa and participated in the Anzio Landings and went to Southern France with the Seventh Army.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Leonard Shultz, of Elwood City, Pa.
