Services will be conducted at the Martin Funeral Home Monday at 10:30 a.m. for Charles Guinn, 90, of 816 Grandview Ave.
Mr. Guinn, who resided with a daughter, Mrs. Leslie (Merl) Starr, died Friday at 9:30 a.m. at City Hospital, where he had been a patient since Dec. 21.
He was born Nov. 19, 1883, in Wadesville, V. Va., a son of Thomas and Fannie Davis Guinn. He had resided in this area for 73 years and was a former teamster. He worked as a miller at the former Faulk Brothers Co. for 45 years before retiring in 1965.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, where he was an honorary deacon and a member of the Baraca LurSaw Class. He also belonged to the Modern Woodsmen of America. His wife, Mrs. Clara Marty Guinn, died April 10, 1944.
In addition to Mrs. Starr, Mr. Guinn leaves another daughter, Mrs. Mildred Boso of East Liverpool, and two grandchildren.
The Rev. William Parsons will conduct the Monday services. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight, Sunday afternoon and night.
