Mrs. Bertha Elizabeth Diddle Wolfe, 68, died suddenly Saturday at 8:40 p.m. in her home, 741 ½ Daisy Lane
Mrs. Wolfe was born in Meigs County and lived in East Liverpool since she was a child. She was employed as a ware brusher for the hall China Co. She was a member of Local Union 94, N.B.O.P and was teacher of the Women’s Bible Class and a member of the Avondale St. Free Methodist Church.
She leaves three sons, Roy W. Wolfe, Clinton T. Wolfe, and William E. Wolfe of East Liverpool; four daughters, Mrs. Frances Uhlworm of Midland, and Mrs. Laura Merchant, Mrs. Virginia O’Hanlon and Mrs. Gertrude Sullivan of East Liverpool; two brothers, Everett Diddle of East Liverpool, and Rev. Fred Diddle of Mt. Pleasant, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Nora Drumm of Newell; two half-brothers, Ralph Diddle and Herbert Diddle of East Liverpool; two half-sisters, Mrs. Pearl Zinkan and Mrs. Helen Holland of East Liverpool, and 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Rites will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Martin Funeral Home by Rev. Paul Jones. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
