Mrs. Fannie Elizabeth Greaves, 81, of the Fairview Rd., Chester, died Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in Emma’s Rest Home, following a two year illness.
Mrs. Greaves was born Nov. 17, 1871, in England and had resided here for the last 26 years. She was a member of ST. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. She was the widow of Thomas Greaves, sho died in 1947.
She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Gladys Wild in England, Mrs. Elsie Ervine in California, Mrs. Laura Styles of Akron, Miss Ethel Greaves of Wheeling and Mrs. Florence Stafford of Chester; an adopted son, Alexander Greaves of Oklahoma City, Okla; a brother, Ted Butler, in England; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Rites will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church by the Rev. Frederick T. Gillette. Burial will be in the Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call Tuesday afternoon and night at the Martin Funeral Home.
