R.C. Schylander Dies At His Home
Rudolph Carl Schylander, died today at 9:55 a.m. at his home, 306 Monroe St., following a several months’ illness.
He was a native of Sweden and had resided here about 45 years. He was a cost accountant for the Edwin M. Knowles China Co. at Newell until his retirement about two years ago, when he went to California. He returned to East Liverpool last spring.
He was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Olga Goltz Schylander, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Glen Pettit of Pasadena, Calif.; three sisters and a brother in Sweden, and two grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Dawson Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete.
