Mrs. Helen Shiveley
Died Feb. 12, 2004

EAST LIVERPOOL – Mrs. Helen Shiveley, 91, formerly of Ravine Street, died at 3:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at the Nentwick Convalescent Center following a lengthy illness.
Born in Newell May 6, 1912, a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Emma Koenig Anderson, she was a member of the former Calvary Unite Methodist Church.
A lifelong resident of the area, she retired from the Homer Laughlin China Co. in 1974.
A member of the East Liverpool Area Seniors, she also was an honorary member of the Glass, Plastics & Potters Allied Workers.
Her husband, Lawrence M. Shiveley, whom she married Dec. 5, 1934, died Sept. 8, 1985. Two sisters, Dorothy Prosser and Edna Jones, also preceded her in death.
A daughter, Mrs. Charles “Chink” (Judy) Sell of East Liverpool, survives her along with two granddaughters, Mrs. Jon (Lisa) Hays of East Liverpool and Patricia Sell of New Castle, Colo.
A great-granddaughter, Emily Ann Hays of East Liverpool, also survives.
Friends may call Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Evangelist Will Montgomery will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
