Earl George Parsons
Died June 5, 2003

Earl George Parsons, 89, of California Ave., Chester passed away Thursday, June 5, 2003 at the East Liverpool City Hospital.
He was born June 7, 1913 in Chester, a son of the late William T. and Ada B. McCoy Parsons. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert L. Parsons.
He worked for National Steel, Weirton Steel Division for 37 years as an accountant. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church where he had been the Sunday School treasurer.
He is survived by ex-wife Carole Elaine Caldwell Parsons, three sons, William T. Parsons and his wife, Kay of Salem, Or. Robert A. Parsons of Mt. Crawford, VA and Bruce C. Parsons of Chester; two daughters, Leslie parsons of Chester, with whom he resided and Melanie Parsons and don Hart of Stafford, VA; a brother, C. Alan Parsons and his wife, Jac of Lorain, Oh, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Parsons of Charleston, SC; caregivers, Donette Louk and Sue Thompson of Newell and Mary Holmes of Chester and five grandchildren, Katie and Kelly Parsons of Salem, Or and Keith, Craig and Kyle Parsons of Bridgewater, VA.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 16, 2003 at 3 p.m. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Katrina Lewis officiating. Interment followed in the Riverview Cemetery.
Arner Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
