Howard W. Kent,62, of 468 6th Ave., Lacroft, died Sunday at 5:10 p.m. in Rochester Unit of the Beaver County Medical Center where he had been admitted earlier following a massive coronary suffered at home.
Mr. Kent was born Nov. 15, 1914, in Sistersville, W.Va., a son of D. E. Kent and Bessie Elizabeth Williams Kent. He had been employed as a pipe fitter I the cold strip at
Crucible Steel Division of Colt Industries, last working Saturday. He was a member of Local 1212 Untied Steel Workers and the Rogers Assembly of God church where he had one time served on the board.
In addition to his widow, Mrs. Francis E. Dent at home, survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Beverly) Jackson, Mrs. Larry (Brenda) Olmstead, both of Glenmoor, and Mrs. Marlene Fry and Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Smith, both of Lacroft; two sons, Howard S. Kent of East Liverpool and Joseph Kent of Lansing, Mich., and 16 grandchildren.
The rites will be conducted Wednesday at 1 a.m. at the first Assembly of God Church by the Rev. Donald Dohm, assisted by the Rev. Robert Davidson of Toronto Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
