Mrs. Newell Graham

Mrs. Mary Brophy Graham, 76, of 1755 Maple Ave., Wellsville, wife of Newell Graham, died today at 3:30 a.m. at City Hospital, where she had been a patient since Monday.

A native of Negley, Mrs. Graham was born Jan. 10, 1892, a daughter of the late Pete Brophy and Anna Mankins Brophy. She was employed at one time as an operator at the former U. S. Telephone Co. in Wellsville. She belonged to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Wellsville, its Altar and Rosary Society and the Ladies Catholic Benevolence Association.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Graham is survived by a son, Robert Graham, at home; three daughters, Miss Josephine Graham, at home, Mrs. William (Margery) O’Donohue of Joliet, Ill., and Mrs. David (Susan) Orr of Fulton, Mo.;’ two brothers, William Brophy of Bossier City, La., and Joseph Brophy of Wellsville; a sister, Mrs. Lavern (Catherine) Champion of Huntsville, Ala., and three grandchildren. A son, John Graham, died March 29, 1963.

Funeral arrangements are pending, with MacLean Funeral Home at Wellsville in charge.
