Bryon T. Foutts of Gardena, Calif, died Sunday at the Long Beach Veterans Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 68.

Born in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Byron and Francis Ford Foutts.

He was a World War 1 veteran and a local boxing promoter and has resided in California for the last 10 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James Gaughn of Columbiana, and four grandchildren.

Local services are being arranged by the Dawson Funeral Home.
