East Liverpool Tribune

Everett, they young son of Councilman and Mrs. J. T. Smith, died late Friday evening, May 11, at the home on Calcutta Road. Everett had been ill for several weeks of typhoid fever.

Deceased was a bright young man, and was a general favorite with his companions. His death is a particularly sad one, as the mother has been seriously ill for some time, and two brothers had been in Chicago for two weeks, taking treatment at the Pasteur Institute, and were absent at the time of his death. They arrived home Wednesday morning, accompanied by Rev. Clark Crawford, to attend the funeral, which occurred from the home at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Crawford conducting the services. The members of Council and city official attended the funeral in a body.

The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community in their affliction.
