John Thomas Goddard, 62, of Dewey Ave., died Monday at Aspinwall Veterans Administration Hospital.

He was born in East Liverpool March 17, 1920, a son of the late Wilbur E. Goddard and Florence Whitney Goddard, who survive.

He retired in 1962 as a molder from the McIntosh-Hemphill co.

A World War 11 Army veteran, he was a private in the Military Police.

In addition to his mother, survivors include three brothers, Charles Goddard, Daniel R. Goddard and Ralph E. Goddard, and two sisters, Mrs. Collin (Dorothy) Davis and Mrs. Russell (Wilma) Custer, all of East Liverpool.

Funeral services are to be conducted from the Sigler Funeral Home Thursday at 11 a.m. with Elder George Wilkinson officiating.

Burial is to be in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.
