Tammy Sue Morris, 45, of Chester, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born September 21, 1965 in East Liverpool, a daughter of Adaline Keller Morris of Chester and the late Lonnie Morris Jr.
Tammy was a 1983 graduate of Oak Glen High School and a former warehouseman for Wal-Mart.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by three children, Dillon Brooks, Tasha Morris and Heather Brooks and a brother, Jefferey “Goober” Mooris.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Dereck Brooks and Nathan Gilmore both of North Carolina; two brothers, Lonnie Morris III of Chester and Todd (Sue) Morris of Newell; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell. Pastor Mark Hunt officiated.
