Joan Murray
Died Jan. 10, 2004

NEW CUMBERLAND – Joan Marie Murray, 63, of Bel Mesa Trailer Court, passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 19, 1940, in Atchison, Kan., a daughter of the late John Arnold and Annie Marie (Lombardi) McNamara.
She was a member of the New Cumberland Nazarene Church.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Eugene “Fib” Murray at home; four daughters, Debra Van Gilder and Barbara Murray both of New Cumberland, Jody Jacobs and Patricia Ziegler both of Weirton; three sons, David Sean Murray, Richard “Bic” Murray and Steven Murray, all of New Cumberland; one sister, Barbara Randahl of Revere, Mass.; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Turley Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Monday. Services will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Craig Greathouse officiating. Burial will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.

Phyllis I. Noling Obituary

LEBANON, Ill. – Phyllis I. Noling, 94, formerly of this area, died at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, at the Bohannon Care Center, where she was a resident, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Negley June 23, 1909, a daughter of the late Claude W. and Gertruda Ward Green.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Lake Mount Church of Christ in Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Noling; an infant son; and a grown son, Richard D. Noling.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty J. Carter of Lebanon and Patty L. Butler of North Ft. Myers, Fla.; a sister, Ruth Weaver of Negley; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Pastor Jason Pancake of the church will conduct services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Louella B. Madison Obituary

EAST LIVERPOOL – Louella “Lou” B. Madison, 91, formerly of Salineville, died Sunday afternoon, Nov. 16, 2003, at East Liverpool Convalescent #1 following an extended illness.
She was born July 28, 1912, in Salineville, daughter of the late Harry and Emma (Saltsman) Henderson. She worked at Baxter Manufacturing in Minerva.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Francis Madison.
She is survived by a daughter, Loretta Finn of Wellsville; sisters, Alice Morrow of Salineville, Bernice Robinson of Bergholz and Lillian McClain of Mechanicstown; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Thomas Allmon of Bethesda Presbyterian Church will conduct services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and before services Wednesday.

EAST LIVERPOOL – Kris E. Bailey, 45, of Fairview St., died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at home.
He was born in East Liverpool, Dec. 24, 1958, a son of Donald L. Bailey and Blanche Danver Chamberlain of East Liverpool.
He worked as a line worker for H & S Machinery Company.
He is survived by a son, Kris E. Bailey Jr. of East Liverpool; two daughters, Jennifer E. Earnest and Valerie K. Bailey of East Liverpool; two brothers, Robert Bailey of East Liverpool and Glen Lewis of Willowick, Ohio; a sister Lisa Van Dyke of East Liverpool; a nephew, Adam E. Bailey, whom he raised; and three grandchildren.
Pastor Delmar Logston of the Campground Community Church will conduct the services at 7 p.m. Thursday at the martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home in East Liverpool. Burial will be in United Presbyterian Cemetery of Calcutta.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.

MIDLAND – Services will be held Saturday for Helen E. Doyle, 73, who died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, in the Medical Center, Beaver.
She was born July 1, 1930, in Midland, a daughter of the late Mike and Mildred Mikrut Yukich.
She was employed as an executive secretary at Crucible Steel Colt Industries until she retired and was a member of St. Blaise Parish Family.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Doyle; a son, Terence Doyle of Centreville, Va.; a sister, Victoria Shaffer of Midland; a brother, Mike Yukich of Homewood, Ill.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Doyle Jr.
Rev. Fr. John M. Jordan will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.
Visitation will be at the D.L. Williams Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

LEESBURG, Fla. – Lottie Odessa Williams, 92, formerly of Salineville, died Wednesday, Jan. 13,, 2004, at Lake Harris Nursing Center in Leesburg.
She was born Dec. 17, 1911, in Hammondsville, a daughter of the late Hugh and Mary Jackson Rose.
She was the owner/operator of the former Jinx Café in Steubenville and a member of the Salineville Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Turner, her last husband, George Williams; and a son, James Turner.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Turner of Coleman, Fla., and Richard Turner of Eustis, Fla.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville. Burial in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 3, 1924, in Salineville, a daughter of the late Wilford and Eunice Graubner Johnston.
She was a factory worker and attended the Presbyterian Church.
Pastor Rodney Ohler conducted a graveside committal service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Woodland Cemetery.
The Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home was in charge.
