Mrs. Marie E. Byers, 65, of 209 ½ 19th St. Wellsville, was found dead Sunday about 8:25 p.m. by a son, Allen Byers of Wellsville. Death was due to an apparent heart attack.
Mrs. Byers was born Apr 7, 1901, in Pittsburgh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glabb. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Wellsville.
She also leaves five daughters, Mrs. Juen Rice of Baltimore, Mrs. Anna Sue Gough and Mrs. Sally Stewart, both of Hammondsville, Mrs. Geraldine Binegar of Wellsville and Mrs. Shirley Gough of Lisbon; two other sons, Edward Byer4s and Jay Byers, both of Wellsville; three sisters, Mrs. Hilda Stewart, Mrs. Virginia Hugue and Mrs. Nettie Rowe, all of New Brighton; another sister, Alice, two brothers, Ralph Glabb and Norman Glabb, both of New Brighton; 33 grandchildren an d13 great-grandchildren
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the church, Wednesday at 10 a.m. by Fr. James K. Cavanaugh. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth cemetery, Wellsville.
Friends may call at the Haugh Funeral Home in Wellsville Tuesday.
