Richard Zacharias, 58, Lifelong Farmer
WELLSVILLE – Richard H. Zacharias, 58, of Zacharias Road died at 12:04 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 1990, in the emergency room at City Hospital where he was taken after becoming ill at home.
He was born in Wellsville May 4, 1931, as on of the late Fred H. Zacharias and Goldie Furbee Zacharias.
A lifelong farmer, Mr. Zacharias retired as a brick wheeler at the Swank Refactories in 1984. He attended the Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church, and was a member of the Yellow Creek Grange.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Board Zacharias, at home; two sons, Richard L. Zacharias of Wellsville, and Mark D. Zacharias of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Keith (Sandra) Edmundson of Lisbon, and Mrs. Boddie (Patty) Reed of Wellsville; three brothers, Fred Zacharias of San Diego, Calif., Donald Zacharias and Clarence Zacharias of Wellsville; two sisters, Mrs. William (Mary Lou) Dodd of East Palestine and Mrs. Donald (Linda) Galloway of East Liverpool; and eight grandchildren.
The Rev. Michael Anderson of the church is to conduct services at 1 p.m. Monday at the Martin-MacLean Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call t the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
