Mrs. Maude B. Burson, 80, of 1566 Globe St., widow of Roy C. Burson, died Tuesday at 11:50 a.m. at Osteopathic Hospital where she had bee a patient two weeks.
Mrs. Burson was born in Brownsville, Pa., July 14, 1885, and moved here in 1907. She was a member of the Grace United Presbyterian Church in East End, its Berea Sunday School class, Crystal Chapter 18, Order of Eastern Star, White City Rebekah Lodge 782 and Pamir Zuanna Auxiliary 43, Daughters of Rebekah. Her husband died May 6, 1949.
She leaves five sons, Ralph O Burson, Paul A. Burson, William C. Burson, Roy G. Burson and Robert K. Burson, and a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Cole, all of East Liverpool. 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. M. Rudolph Miller of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call Thursday afternoon and night at the funeral home where Crystal Chapter and the White Shrine will conduct services tonight at 7:30.
The Ohio City Rebekah Lodge will conduct services at the funeral home Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
