Marion Blood, 89, Licensed Architect
SALEM – Services are planned Saturday for Miss Marion F. Blood, 89, of 327 West Seventh St., who died at 1 p.m. Thursday at home after becoming ill.
She was born in Michigan March 31, 1900, a daughter of the late Francis Blood and Anna Rose Blood.
A licensed architect, Miss Blood had been employed many years at the U. S. Steel Co. She was protestant by faith. One of the leaders in formulating the Salem Historical Museum, she was a past president of the Salem Historical Society and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Se is survived by several cousins.
The Rev. Bruce Irwin of the First United Methodist Church is to conduct the services at 2 p.m. at the Ickes Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Highlandtown Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home an hour before the services.
