Mrs. Sylvia I. Black, 72, of Railroad St., East Liverpool, died at 1:28 this morning at City Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born Feb. 3, 1914, in Sistersville, W.Va., a daughter of the late C. E. Beaver and Frances Beaver.
She moved from Virginia to East Liverpool six months ago.
She is survived by her husband, Everett R. Black, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Frances) Pickens of Rogers and Mrs. Roy (jean) Berrier of Lewistown, Pa., a son, Victor H. Shreves of Weirton; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home Friday afternoon and evening where other arrangements are incomplete.
