Edna E. Clouse
EAST LIVERPOOL -- Edna E. Clouse of Gaston Place, died Tuesday, Dec. 19. 1995, at home following a brief illness.
She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ernest E. and Belle Bucher Clouse.
A lifelong resident of East Liverpool, she was employed 44 years as a teacher of history and social studies by the East Liverpool School System before retiring in 1973. She graduated from East Liverpool High School and Ohio State University, with advanced studies at Duke University and the University of Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority, East Liverpool Teachers Association, the Ohio Teachers Association and the First united Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Isabel Clouse, May 18, 1971; and a brother Raymond E. Clouse, Sept. 30, 1983.
The Rev. Dr. Robert Buckley of the church will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
