Mrs. Sara M. Ervin, 75, of Dayton, former resident of East Liverpool, died Wednesday morning at the Sienna Hospital in Dayton after a long illness.
Mrs. Ervin left East Liverpool in 1961. She was formerly employed at Homer Laughlin China Co. Her husband, Carl F. Ervin, died Sept. 8, 1964. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Dayton.
She is survived by a son, Bernard E. Ervin, with whom she resided; two step-daughters, Mrs. Same (Mable) Bryan and Mrs. Charles (Jane) Kology, both of Chester and five grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Aloysious Catholic Church here. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the East Liverpool Arner Home for Funerals Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home Friday at 8 p.m.
