Ruth T. Winland
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Riverview Chapel for Mrs. Ruth T. Winland, 62, of 715 Park Blvd., who died Friday at 5:50 p.m. in Northside Hospital, Youngstown.
The rites will be conducted by the Rev. Ronald Loper of the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church.
Friends may call a the Martins Funeral Home Sunday from noon to 4 and 7 to 9.

Mrs. Ruth T. Winland, 62, of 715 Park Blvd., died today at 5:50 a.m. in Northside Hospital,Youngstown where she had been ill for three years.

A lifelong resident of the area, Mrs. Winland was born in Wellsville May 24, 1914, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Taggart. She was a teacher in the Wellsville city school system for three years.

She was a former chairman of the City Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of the Women’s Association of the Fonderlac Country Club of Youngstown, the Monday Literary Club, an associate member of the East Liverpool Women’s Club and a member of the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Winland was graduated from Wellsville High School and Kent State University.

In addition to her husband, Fred Winland whom she married June 18, 1938, survivors include a daughter, Miss Jane E. Winland of New York, N. Y.

Services will be held Monday at Riverview Chapel by the Rev. Ronald Loper. Burial will follow.

The family requests that contributions be made to the Ohio Division of the Columbiana County Unit of the American Cancer Society.
