Clayton Andrew Beagle Sr., age 71, of Main St., Weirton passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at Kindred Hospital, Oakdale, PA.
He was born January 10, 1932 in Weirton, a son of the late Oliver J. and Lexie L. Ankrom Beagle. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Darrell and Oliver Beagle Jr. and a sister, Loretta Maxine Myers.
He was retired for Weirton Steel Corp. where he worked as a motor inspector. He was the proprietor of C. B.’s Bicycle Sop in Weirton. He was an United States Army Korean Conflict veteran and was Protestant by faith.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Nellie Dolores Beagle of Weirton; two sons, Clayton Andrew Beagle Jr., of Weirton and Clifford Alan Beagle of Poparlare, Germany; two daughters Danita Dianne Beagle and Debra Marie Stevens, both of Weirton; a sister, Violet Warne of Dillonvale, Oh; two brothers, Cecil Beagle and Carlos Beagle, both of New Cumberland; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 7, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Turley Funeal Hoe with Pastor Charles Thomas officiating. Military graveside services followed at th New Cumberland Cemetery.
