Eva Gowin

TORONTO – Eva P. “Tinker” Gowin, 55, of Mellwood Drive, died Friday, June 21, 2002, at the Trinity Medical Center-West in Steubenville.
She was born in Akron April 29, 1947,a daughter of the late Amos Edward and Florence Lulu Walker Thompson.
She was employed for the Carriage Inn of Steubenville, Ohio Valley Home Health and Heritage Home Health as a nurses aide and also as a private duty nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley E. Gowin.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Gowin and Gregory Gowin at home; a stepdaughte, Mrs. Wayne (LuAnn) Mullen of Winter Springs. Fla., a brother, Victor Bork of Snowflake, Ariz.; and a sister, Kay Bork of Toronto.
A private family graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Follansbee, W.Va.
Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Clarke Funeral Home.
