LISBON – Robert John Vulcan, 91, of Adams Road, died Friday evening, March 5, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown following a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 25, 1912, in Lisbon, a son of the late Emilean “Mike” and Flora Mae Donalley Vulcan.
He was a self-employed strip miner until retiring and attended First United Methodist Church of Lisbon
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Velina Morgan Vulcan a daughter, Lana Mae Vulcan; and an infant son.
He is survived by a son, Gary Randall Vulcan of Lisbon; two daughters, Judith Jane Evans of Ravenna and Cyndee Sommers of Washington, D.C.’ seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pastor James Gaston will conduct services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Weber Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
