VERNON, Ohio – Lily J. Henderson, 76, died Monday, March 8, 2004, at her residence.
She was born May 6, 1927, in East Liverpool, a son of the late Harold T. Sr. and Thelma L. (Robinson) Robinson.
Formerly of Chester, W.Va., Mrs. Henderson has lived in Vernon township for the past nine years. She was employed by Montgomery Ward in East Liverpool for over 25 years. She also worked for Rite Aid and Woolworth’s in East Liverpool for many years. She enjoyed music and doing word puzzles.
Mrs. Henderson married Elwood Henderson on Aug. 29, 1951, he died in 1985. Also preceding her in death, besides her parents, are a granddaughter, Jennifer Collins; and two brothers, Harold T. Robinson Jr. and Donald Robinson.
She is survived by a daughter, Pam (Larry) wells of Vernon Township; two sons, Phil (Donna) Henderson of Newell and Steve Henderson of East Liverpool; six grandchildren, Tom Collins, Mark Collins and Amanda Wells all of Vernon Township, Nicky Henderson of Chester, Todd Henderson of Newell, and Nathan Henderson of East Liverpool; and an aunt Betty Tilton of East Liverpool
A funeral service will be held on Friday, march 12, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 main St., Kinsman, Ohio.
Burial will follow in West View Cemetery in Vernon, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Thursday, March 11, 2004, form 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
