NEW CUMBERLAND -- Jack N. Kimble, 56, of New Cumberland RD1 died at 12:51 this morning at the Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, following a long illness.
He was born Aug. 7, 1929, in Green County, Pa., a son of the late Arthur R. Kimble and Sara Ellen Barnhart Kimble.
Mr. Kimble was retired from the Jones and Laughlin Steel Co. in Aliquippa. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, and served in the U. S. Army from a950 to 1953.
He is survived by two sons, Buddy Ray Kimble of Weirton and Thomas Edward Kimble of Fort Eustis, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Bobbie Jean) Givens of New Cumberland RD1 and Mrs. Warner (Billie Jo) Seals of Twinsburg, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. G. N. (Betty) Pittman of Norfolk, Va.; six brothers, George W. Kimble of Denver, Colo., Richard D. Kimble and Archie Kimble of Alliance, Ohio, Edward W. Kimble of Louisville, Ky., Larry Kimble of Weirton and Dewey Kimble of Solon, Ohio and six grandchildren.
Services are to be held at the Turley Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Herman George officiating.
Burial is to be in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell.
Friends may call a the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
