Mrs. Ora Martin Laird, former East Liverpool school teacher and wife of A. J. Laird of 360 Wilson avenue, Beaver, died in the Rochester General Hospital Sunday at 3:30 a.m.
Mr. Laird was employed in the Horace Mann and Neville schools for about seven years before her marriage about 26 years ago when she went to live in Beaver. She was an active member of the Beaver Christian church and was also affiliated with several of the church organizations.
Besides her husband she is survived by two children, Grace and Donald, both at home, three brothers, J. B. Martin of Columbus and Herman and J. Victor Martin of East Liverpool; and three sisters, Mrs. E. L. Green and Alice and Mary Martin of East Liverpool.
Funeral services will be held in the home in Beaver, Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Re. H. G. Carpenter, pastor of the Christian church. Burial will be made in the Beaver cemetery.
