SALINEVILLE, April 7 – Mrs. Eliza Fidoe, 78, wife of Thomas Fidoe, formerly of Salineville, died at noon Sunday in her home in Salem. She has been in poor health for the past nine years after suffering a stroke.
Mrs. Fidoe was born in England Oct. 27, 1869, and came to Salineville about 35 years ago. She resided in Salem for the past 10 years.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Fred Fidoe and Thomas Fidoe Jr. of Salem; a daughter, Amy Fidoe of Salineville; two brothers, Benjamin Rowley and James Rowley of Salineville, and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Rites will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Maple Funeral Home in Kensington by Rev. R. A. Marty, pastor of the Methodist Church at Augusta. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery here.
Friends may call tonight and Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
