Mrs. Lula Grace Wilson, 67, widow of Ira Wilson, died Wednesday at 6:50 p.m. in the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. B. Van Fosson, 1046, Pan Ave., Chester, following a long illness.
A daughter of the late William and Jennie Saunders, Mrs. Wilson was born Aug. 27, 1881, in Reedy, W. Va. She came to this district abot 25 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Fairview, W. Va.
Mrs. Wilson leaves five other daughters, Mrs. Mary Meredith of Parkersburg, W. Va., Mrs. Celeste Campbell of Encampment, Wyo., Mrs. Elizabeth Turner of Washington, D. C., Mrs. Lucille Calhoon of Nantucket, Mass., and Mrs. Cora Males of Chester; four sons, Roscoe Wilson of Chester, Earl Wilson of Newell, Okey Wilson of East Liverpool and Edward L. Wilson of Metuchen, N. J.; two brothers, Walter Saunders of Rochester, N. Y., and Charles Saunders of Buffalo, N. Y.; 33 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Rites will be held Saturday at 2 pm. in the Arner Funeral Home in Chester by Rev. C. L. Dotson of Follansbee, former pastor of the Chester Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight and Friday night at the funeral home.
