Services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church for Raymond Hanley, 72, of 15500 Lois Ln., Calcutta Acres.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at city Hospital Friday at 6:21 p.m. after taking ill at home.
Mr. Hanley was born in Pittsburgh July 19, 1901, but had resided here most of his life. He was retired from the former Harker China Co.
He was a member of the St. John Church and its Men’s Brotherhood Class, the Calcutta Grange, serving as overseer at the time of his death, and was a seventh-degree member of the grange. He was an honorary member of the IBPAW.
Mr. Hanley is survived by his widow, Mrs. Grace Wright Hanley, at home; a sister, Mrs. Leo (Hilda) Everitt of Gilford Lake and several nephews.
Pastor Ron Lee will conduct the Monday afternoon services. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home any time Sunday and on Monday an hour prior to the services at the church, where the body will lie in state.
