William Wilson
William Earl Wilson, 61, of 315 Harrison St., Newell, a retired carpenter, died this morning at 2:30 at City Hospital after a brief illness.
A native of East Liverpool, Mr. Wilson was born Oct. 2, 1904, a son of the later Ira Wilson and Grace Sanders Wilson. He attended the Newell Methodist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Alice Wilson, at home; three sons, Glen L. Wilson of San Franccisco. W. Floyd Wilson, at home, and Pvt. 1C Cecil K. Wilson of Ft. Bliss, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Dorothy) Poole of Denver, Colo., and Miss Carolyn Sue Wilson, at home; six sisters, Mrs. Celesta Nutter of Encampment, Wyo., Mrs. Elizabeth Turner of Springfield, Va., Mrs. Lucille Calhoun of Nantucket, Mass., Mrs. Mary Merdith of Parkersburg, W. VA., Mrs. Pearl Vanfossan of East Liverpool, Mrs. Cora Males of Chester; three brothers, Edward L. Wilson of New Castle, Ind., Okey Wilson of Richmond, Ohio and Rosco Wilson of Chester, and several nephews and nieces.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester by the Rev. Willis Summers. Burial will be in the Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens, Newell.
Friends may call at the chapel tonight, Sunday and Monday up to the time of service.
