Martin J. Gill, 73, potter, 245 West Third st., died Sunday at 11 a.m. in City hospital from an illness of pneumonia, which followed a fall.
Mr. gill was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago with a broken left hip received in a fall while walking on Fourth st.
He spent his lifetime in East Liverpool. He was a caster and was employed at the Taylor, Smith & Taylor Co. in Chester. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic church and of the National Brother hood of Operative Potters.
Mr. Gill leaves two sons, Dr. Wilfred Gill of Cleveland, and Vincent Gill of Washington, and a sister, Mrs. Celia Farmer of West Fourth st.
The body was taken to Cleveland for funeral services probably on Wednesday. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery in Cleveland.
