EAST PALESTINE – Miss Mabel A. Wetzel, 56, formerly of 110 Vine St., died at 7:45 a.m. today at the Columbiana County Home Hospital after an illness of two years.
She was born July 3, 1915, in Unity, a daughter of Curtis M. and Maude Buhecker Wetzel. Miss Wetzel was a decorator at the former W. S. George Pottery Co. here for many years and was employed last as a decorator at Kingwood China here. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and East Palestine Chapter 381 , Order of Eastern Star.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Van Dyke Funeral Home, with the Rev. C. Lee Filker, former pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the United Church of Christ Cemetery at Unity.
Friends may cal from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Funeral home.
