Betty Almy
Died Dec. 26, 2003
LISBON – Betty Retha Almay, 69, of Endley Road, died at 5:50 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at Salem Community Hospital.
She was born in Moundsville, W. Va., March 3, 1934, a daughter of the late Gilbert S. and Opal E. Grall McCulley.
She retired as a bus driver for the Robert Bycroft School and was a member of the Southern Hills Church of Christ..
She is survived by her husband, David E. Almy; eight children, Charley Almy, Gilbert Almy and Daniel Almy of Lisbon, Sandra Rayner of Canton, Susan Richards of Iron Station, N. C., Elizabeth Joy of Salineille, Sgt. Lynette Kabat of Germany and Rebekah Chestnut of Hanoverton; three sisters, Joyce Carmen of Minerva, Ruth Mycoskie of Cleveland and Phyllis Joy of Salem; a brother, Kenneth McCulley of Lisbon.; 25 grandchildren ; and 41 great-grandchildren.
Minister Buck Groves of the Church will conduct services at 11 a.m. Friday at eh Weber Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
