Glenn E. Mesler, 73, of RD #2, New Cumberland passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2004
He was born January 3, 1931 in Toronto, OH, the son of the late Henry and Garnett Duke Mesler. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Miller and a brother, Jack Mesler.
He was a retired machine shop foreman with Starvaggi’s Industries and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Cumberland.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Daplun Mesler, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Bonnie) Juszczak and Kathy Kontra, both of RD #2 New Cumberland; a son, Thomas Mesler and wife, Cynthia of Weirton; two brothers, Jim Mesler of Georgia and Curt Mesler of East Liverpool; two sisters, Marilyn Gooch of Toronto and Carol Gerkins of Monroeville; six grandchildren, Jason and Julie Juszczak, Jennifer Brinkley, Melissa, Amanda and Jonathan Mesler and two great-grandchildren Tyler and Zachary.
A mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, April 2, 2004 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church with Father Ronald Getsinger officiating. Interment followed at the White Oak Pointe Cemetery, New Cumberland, Nixon Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
