SALEM – Ronald L. Barnett Sr., 71, of Pennsylvania, died at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at Holander House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a three-year illness.
He was born May 14, 1932, in Saxton, Bedford County, Pa., to the late William and Helen (Thompson) Barnett.
He retired from U.S,. Airways in Pittsburgh in 1987. he was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by daughters, Rebecca L. Conger of Atlanta, Ga., and Madonna L. Johnson of Raleigh, N. C.; a son, Ronald L. Barnett Jr., of Salem; two sisters and two grandchildren.
Private services will be Wednesday at Arbaugh Pearce Greenisen Funeral Home in Salem. Burial at Ohio Western reserve national Cemetery in Pittman, Ohio, will full military honors from the U.S. Army.
