Carl E. Cline, 77, of East Liverpool passed away Monday, March 29, 2004
He was born April 1, 1926 in Chester, a son of the late Wilbur J. and Mary Seevers Cline. He was also preceded in death by a son, William Cline and a daughter, Carol Cline.
He was a World War II Army veteran. He was retired as a crane operator with Patterson Industry. He was a member of the East Liverpool American Legion Post 374 and a Protestant by faith.
He is survived by eight daughters, Darlene Jones an Janet H. Dennis of East Liverpool, Norva Carlson, Lucindy Tabor, Edith Tyler and Wanda Fuqua, all of Idaho, Eva Ruth Hughes of Washington State and Evelyn Ramages of Florida; a sister, Shirley Moore of Oregon; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 2, 2004 at 11 a.m. a the Newell Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home with Rev. Howard McConkey officiating. Interment followed at the Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens of Newell were the Tri-State Veterans Burial Group accorded military services.
