Died Dec. 6, 2003

SALINEVILLE – Lillian “Mae” Reed, 82, of McCormack run, Salineville, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Salina, Pa., Oct. 6, 1921, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Isabella Robinson McHenry. She had spent most of her lifetime in this area, where she had formerly lived on Melbourne Avenue. She and her husband, Harry, owned and operated HM Beagle Dry Cleaners, and she was later employed by One Hour Cleaners.
A member of Southern Hills Church of Christ on Route 39, Mrs. Reed was a member of Etruria Street Church of God in East Liverpool.

She is survived by one son, Raymond K. Springer and his wife Betty of Highlandtown, as well as a brother, George Frank McHenry of Calcutta, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Shermenti, and two brothers, James McHenry and William Kenneth McHenry.
Friends may call at eh Dawson Funeral Home Monday, where the family will be present form 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Evangelist Will Montgomery of the St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at the Calcutta united Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
