EAST LIVERPOOL – Daniel Christopher Aldrich, 19, of Park Boulevard died at approximately 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 1999, near Ada, Ohio, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He ws born in East Liverpool Sept. 12, 1980, a son of Jeffrey W. and Dr, Jean Pomeroy Aldrich of East Liverpool.
He was a graduate of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1999. he was starting tackle of the 1998 ELHS Football playoff team. He was a member of the ELHS Varsity Club and was a member of the 1999 ELHS College Bowl championship team. He was to major in biology at Ohio Northern University in Ada with the intention of going on to study veterinarian medicine. He had received an academic scholarship from Ohio Northern and the Ohio Proficiency Scholarship.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Jeffrey W. Aldrich Jr., a student at William & Mary College in Williamsburg, Va., and Matthew J. Aldrich, a student at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio; a sister, Ann Kathleen “Katie” Aldrich of Columbus; and his paternal grandparents, F. William and Mabel Aldrich of Pinehurst, N. C.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the ELHS Fieldhouse. Burial will be in Ri
Riverview Cemetery at 2 p.m.
Friends may call at the Fieldhouse form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The Dawson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
