CHESTER – private services were held Monday at the Columbiana County Memorial Park Chapel for Hilda Brown, 97 formerly of Michigan Avenue, East Liverpool, who died at 11:55 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 at the Fox Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she resided.
Born in Smallthorne, Stoke-on-Trent, England, July 8, 1906, daughter of the late Samuel and Harriet Jackson Harris, she lived most of her life in this area.
She retired from Hall china as a ware dresser in 1965.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Brown; and son, Richard Brown.
She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Glass of Chester; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Columbiana County Memorial Park. The Dawson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
