TORONTO – Walter D. Johnson, 64, of state Route 213, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004 at his home from natural causes.
He was born June 2, 1939, in Cleveland, son of the late Walter W. and Theresa Sarley Johnson.
He retired from the former Citizens Banking Co. and was a member of the St. Joseph R.C. Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Kenny Johnson; son, John W. Johnson of Toronto; daughter, Theresa Johnson of Calcutta; and sisters, Irma Amato and Theresa Morgan Betz of Wellsville.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at J.E. Foster Funeral Home, where there will be vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday and blessing services at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
Msgr. Kurt Kemo will be celebrant at a funeral liturgy with Mass at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
