HANOVERTON – Violet Mary “Vi” Mrozek, 74, of Lindesmith Road, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at home unexpectedly.
She was born in Washington, Pa., Nov. 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Paul and Anna Eskey Jochynek.
She was a retired salesclerk from the jewelry department at JC Penney. She was a member of the St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church in Dungannon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. “Pap” Mrozek.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Beth Zehentbauer of Hanoverton; two sisters, Helen Skiviat of Washington, Pa., and Ann Hall of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, John Jochynek of Washington, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Father John Tully will be celebrant at a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Dungannon
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home, Lisbon.
