HOOKSTOWN – Richard J. Morrow, 79, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at the Medical Center, Beaver, following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Shippingport, March 1, 1924, a son of the late Richard H. and rose Shaffer Morrow.
He retired from Shippingport Sand and Gravel Co. and attended Green Valley United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Muriel Eris Cox Morrow; daughters, Rosalie Ferris of Hookstown and Paula Morrow of Weirton; brother, Jack L. Morrow of New Cumberland; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Rico Vespa will conduct services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Welch Funeral Home. Burial in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 8 p.m. today.
