TORONTO – Lewis “Lew” Moore, 77, passed away Sunday, Dec.14, 2003, at his home.
He was born Aug. 22, 1926, in Rittman, Ohio, son of the late Orville and Grace Hall Moore.
He owned the Lew Moore Furniture Co., was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, and a U.W. Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Florence A. Moore; daughter, Luanne Martin of Toronto’ two grandchildren; two great-grandsons; sisters, Norma Cost of Columbia, Tenn., and Winifred Breegle of Panama City, Fla.
He was preceded in death by son, Mark Moore
Msgr. Kurt Kemo will be celebrant of a funeral liturgy with Mass at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial in Island Creek Cemetery.
Visitation form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at J.E. Foster Funeral Home. Vigil services at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Ruritan services at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday and blessing services at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
