Alice M. Faloon

WELLSVILLE – Alice M. Faloon, 91, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at City Hospital.
She was born in Wellsville Jan. 4, 1912, a daughter of the late Harry and Cora McMillan Rowley.
Alice graduated from Wellsville High School in 1929 and from Kent State University in 1933. She was a school teacher in the Southern Local School District for 35 years. Alice was a member of the Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church, Yellow Creek Grange, and was an avid square dancer.
Her husband, Maurice “Scoop” Faloon, whom she married April 24, 1943, died Feb. 12, 1975.
Survivors include one daughter, Darla Green and her husband Butch of Wellsville, with whom she resided; one sister, Millie Osgood of Wellsville; her grandchildren, Crystal Harrison and her husband David of Salem and Donald Green and his wife Cindy of Andover; and her great-grandchildren, Justin, Emily, Adam, Danielle and Gabrielle
She was predeceased by a brother, Dean Rowley.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville with Lester Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
