WELLSVILLE – Linda K. Crews, 53, of St. Rt. 45, Wellsville, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh after a brief illness.
She was born Oct. 15, 1950, in East Liverpool, a daughter of Kathleen (Boley) Allmon of Wellsville and the late Clarence Allmon.
Linda worked as photo lab technician and in the Customer Service Center at Giant Eagle in Calcutta.
She was Methodist by faith and was a member of the American Legion Post 70 Auziliary where she served as first vice president. Lind was also on her class reunion committee.
Survivors include her husband, George Crews at home, whom she married Jan. 20, 1983; one daughter, Kelly Reed of Wellsville; two sons, Rodney Reed and his wife, Sheila of Deltona, Fla. And Joseph Reed and his wife Melissa of Warner Robbins, Ga.; one brother, Randall Allmon of Wellsville; sister-in-law, Christina Allmon of Wellsville; niece, Tiffany Allmon of Wellsville, nephew, Donato Allmon of Wellsville; four step daughters, Jeanne Malone of Lisbon, Lynda Coker of Irondale, Pam Webb of East Liverpool and Lori Neilsen of Browns Mill, N.J.; one step son, George Crews II of Shiloh, Ill.; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville with the Rev. Kenneth Noonan of the Irondale Nazarene Church presiding. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Empire.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to8 p.m. today at the Roberts Funeral Home.
