IMPERIAL, Pa. – Frank Joseph Caruso, 58, of Imperial Pa., formerly o f Wellsville, Ohio, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at Mercy hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born June 12, 1946, in East Liverpool, Ohio, a son of the late Andrew L. and Mary R. (Tramontana) Caruso.
He was a 1965 graduate of Wellsville High School and attended Kent State University, East Liverpool branch. Frank was a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era.
He was employed in the Environmental Services Department at Mercy Hospital for the past 25 years.
Survivors include one sister, Donna Johnston and her husband, Dave, of East Liverpool; one brother, John A. Caruso and his wife, Joyce, of Rome, N.Y.; nieces, Carla McClain of South Carolina, Missy Freeman of East Liverpool, and Kelly DeCarlis of Rome, N.Y.; a nephew, Shawn Wilson also of South Carolina and his close friend, Al Trautman of Imperial, Pa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Bernard Gaeta as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Wellsville.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St., in Wellsville, Ohio.
