Harry R. Brothers
Died Jan. 18, 2004

SALINEVILLE – Harry R.Brothers, 80, of Salineville, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, at Beaver Medical Center Following a lengthy illness.
He was born Jan. 5, 1924, in Mechanicstown, Ohio, the son of the late George and Etta (Marsh) Brothers.
Harry was a heavy equipment operator for Ohio Edison retiring in 1990 after 40 years of work. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the Mechanicstown Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Janice (Loch) Brothers, whom he married May 23, 1947; three daughters, Trudy Crabtree, her husband Gary and children Michael, Jayson and Jordan of LaVale, Md.; Terry hays, her husband Jay and son Chip of Salineville; Tonia Kestner and her husband David and children Janzen and Luke of Lebanon, Ohio; three sons, Chris Brothers and his wife Karen and children Brent and Stephanie of Summitville, Ohio; Craig Brothers and his wife Diane and children Lacey and Brady of Salineville, Corey Brothers and his wife Lisa and children Hannah and Alivia of Salineville; one great-grandson, Samuel Brothers; and two sisters, Mary Young of Carrollton, Ohio and Marjory Taylor of Canton, Ohio. There are also many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his two brothers, Corwin and George Brothers.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville with Rev. Rick Lautzenheiser of the Fellowship of the Beloved Church presiding. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Salineville.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Salineville.
